What Is Nadi Astrology?

Nadi astrology is an ancient Indian method of astrology to know about one’s past, present and future. It is said that thousand's of years ago, the great sages of Indian had the power to look into the past and future of the entire universe and recorded the life of each human being who either lived, were living or were to live at some point of time, these discussions were written on palm leaves in an ancient Tamil script, which can now only be described by expert nadi astrologers.

Nadi in Tamil means “in search of”. As one individual goes in search of his details in the nadi, this system came to be called by this name. The palm leaf inscriptions are scattered throughout India. Some of these palm-leaf inscriptions available in Tamilnadu were standardized, ordered and classified nearly 1000's of years ago during the period of the Cholas in South India. There are a number of nadis available named after the sapthatrishis and Siddhas who composed the same. There are only a few nadi astrologer in india who all are from the Valluvar family available, who could interrupt the inscriptions which are written in the poetic language.

Nadi Types in Nadi Astrology

There are various nadis available like agathiyar nadi, sukhar nadi, kausikar nadi, mahashiva etc., Each person predictions are written in the ola or palm leaf which they can be known in the age according to their fate and they can come out of their sufferings by rectifying their karmic debit by doing certain remedies as per the palm leaf, which these all are written in vatta ezhutu, a Tamil script, with a sharp nail-like instrument called Ezuthani. The palm leaves are still preserved in the Saraswathi Mahal Library of Tanjore (Thanjavur), in the south Indian state of Tamilnadu. The palm leaves are preserved in the ancient period by applying herbal oil with the help of peacock feathers on auspicious occasions. The primary center for nadi shastra is in Vaitheeswaran temple, Tanjore in Tamil Nadu, a state in south India.

The palm leaf inscription of an individual is spotted out by his/her thumb impression (Ladies - Left, Gents - Right). The maharishis had kept 108 names for the impression and separated into top, middle and low lines, as per the impression who have a birth, will be living a life in high class, middle class and low class. And to live a prosperous life by rectifying their karmic debt by doing certain remedies which also had written in their palm leaf. The nadi readers identity the particular types of lines on the thumb impression and the corresponding set of palm leaves are taken. The time duration to pick up your leaf depends upon the identification of the thumb impression. Some impressions palm leaves are identified easily and rarely depends upon their destiny.

Leaves are there not only for Indian nationals but also for foreigners and other nationals belongings to other religions and creeds. If they have the Destiny to find the palm leaf in certain age only they can find the leaf. It is also stated that about 60% of the people in the world only are likely to get these results as available. The other leaves might have been damaged or lost in the course of life.
